Administrative, cultural and commercial capital of Dalmatia; the centre, and recording to many people, the heart of the Adriatic, Split is a city with a long, eventful history. Split has a wealth of architectural works which are famous all over the world, monuments, galleries, museums, theatres and centers for recreation.  It has a great deal to offer.
