Vodice

Dense Mediterranean vegetation surrounds and frames this popular tourist resort overlooking the azure depths of the central Adriatic.
The town’s old houses enclose tiny, charming alleys were every step reveals something new.
This place, famous for its hospitality will offer you a glass of one of its wines, the appetizing smell of fish on the open grill, an ancient Dalmatian song. Pine woods, restaurants and strolls in the fresh air combine to offer alluring itineraries in pleasant surroundings.
Vodice has all usual facilities of a typical tourist resort: hotels, shops, banks, an open market and art gallery. It is situated at the northern tip of the Šibenik channel and the most interesting points of reference are the conically shaped hill called Okit with the church of Our Lady of Carmine to the north Vodice which is the very centre of the town. There is no shortage of sights: the Romanesque church, the Gothic tower, the Baroque tower, the Baroque church of St. Croce.
Nearby Šibenik has its own wealth of Venetian style architecture to offer, too. Then there are beauties of nature in the NP Kornati and NP Krka, “Skradinski buk"; a waterfall with their spectacular 17 metre drops.

NP Kornati

In the central part of Croatian Adriatic Sea, there is amazing group of islands named Kornati archipelago. There are 89 islands, islets and reefs within the area of Kornati National Park (238 km of the coastline), what makes it the most indented group of islands in the Mediterranean. The land part of Kornati National Park covers less than 1/4 of its total area, but the values of its landscapes, the "crowns" (cliffs) on the islands facing the open sea, and interesting relief structures, make this part of Kornati National Park unique.

NP Krka

Krka was proclaimed a national park in 1985 and is the seventh national park in Croatia
